As we knew throughout yesterday, the new Apple Park will be available now from next April for the transfer of all company employees. The new Apple Campus will be able to accommodate more than 12.000 employees, but the move to the new headquarters of the technology giant will take place gradually. Thus, it is estimated that the transfer takes more than 6 months to complete from the initial date.
A new report, complementing the one sent yesterday by the company, ensures that Tim Cook plans to relocate his office in the future, once most of the employees are organized and settled in the new headquarters, sometime in the final months of this year.
The report did not give any details on the exact timing of the Apple CEO. However, we can already know where the office of the head of the company will be located. He will presumably be located in the central structure of the ship, along with other high-ranking executives.
Following the official appointment by the Cupertino-based company, the migration is now expected to take place from April, and that will take place in a minimum period of 6 months.
Cook referenced his predecessor in the role, blaming him for much of the company's recent advancements:
Steve's vision for Apple stretched far beyond his time. He intended the new Apple Park to be the home of innovation for generations to come. "
In addition, the new "Apple Park" will feature cafeterias, an Apple Store and merchandising stores that will be open to the public. And, as has been reported on previous occasions, the energy used in this new headquarters of the North American company will be 100% renewable energy, with facilities properly designed for this marvel of engineering.
