Again the question appears, do I buy a MacBook Pro now or do I wait?

macbook-pro

But this time the answer seems clear if i need it i buy it now.

Once we have seen the update made by Apple regarding the MacBook Pro we can consider the firm chance to get hold of the laptop right now. This is my humble opinion if you were waiting for Apple to launch a team update to carry out your purchase in addition to taking advantage of the financing offer at 0% interest.

Apple does not seem to change its way of acting and with this latest update on the MacBook Pro it will close the year 2014. Nobody knows for sure if they will get another model by the end of the year, but waiting when we have already had a waiting time can be a real waste of time to enjoy the machine and then be left with a fool's face ...

This can be perfectly the other way around, that is, if for whatever reason Apple presents a new model in October we can regret the purchase if we were not in a hurry, but this is something that currently seems unlikely. Just as I advise users who want to buy a Mac mini wait, buying a MacBook Pro no longer seems necessary. The question that always comes up in our subconscious when we go to buy a MacBook Pro at this time is always the same Will Apple introduce a new MacBook Pro? Right now the answer seems clear, no.

Store

If you decide to buy a MacBook Pro and Apple decides to show a new computer at the end of the year (which now seems impossible) you have to get the positive out of your purchase since it may not be possible to finance it without interest as well as you did with your Mac and that the MacBook Pro that you have is really a spectacular machine that will work perfectly for many years in addition to having been enjoying it for a while.

To think about the needs of each one when we are going to spend a good peak, it is the right thing to do before purchases like this but if you have been waiting for a long time, the best thing is to jump in now. new macbook pro.

Hello dear, see: I have been using a macbook pro (core i5, 4 GB RAM) very recently and the amount of ram memory used by the operating system catches my attention, for example, when opening safari and watching a video already is consuming more than 3 GB of RAM, see this is normal ???? I am somewhat worried since this macbook pro I need it to run programs like: photoshop, illustrator, office (large excel spreadsheets) and you must occasionally adobe premiere and finally program in php, html, databases, etc.

Please your comments as I am about to regret the purchase, greetings.

      Good morning vgajardo,

actually 4GB of RAM can be enough for many of those tasks you mention, but if you want to run several at the same time it is somewhat scarce.

What I do advise you is that you use the MacBook normally and do not look at the activity monitor ... if it works well for you, no problem. In the event that it becomes very slow or does not process the tasks you perform well, you can say that it is somewhat short in RAM. Think that Macs manage resources very well but obviously it all depends on the tasks you want to perform with the machine.

      regards

I would like to take advantage of the post to expose my doubts regarding this machine. I'm considering getting one, but I was pushed back by a lot of forum comments stating that it is a machine that overheats. Many users comment that the idle temperature is around 50º but just by browsing content with flash, loading a virtual machine or some other medium-demanding task, the machine easily reaches 95 or 100º.
On the one hand I am reluctant to believe that this is such a beast, since such a temperature would punish the machine a lot, but on the other hand in all the threads in which the subject is discussed, no user denies it. What is your experience with this machine?

    Thank you very much

Hello good!!! No sooner said than done. I had been waiting to buy a RETINA 15 ″ MBP for months. I posted a comment here about another similar article.
After waiting, thinking and rethinking it, I made the big decision and bought my desired 15 ″ MacBook Pro Retina.
I can only say that it is a marvel of machine. Quick as a shot. Today I have been using the Time Machine to make my first backup now that it is still "clean". My experience with him, still very brief, is fantastic.
I'm going to use it with classic office automation programs, but also with Photoshop, video editing, and other applications related to web design and creation.
As for the "warm-up", I precisely watch this issue a bit during these premiere days and the truth is that nothing gets hot for me. It doesn't even get warm when I touch it. And that in my city there are very very high temperatures.
My advice is that you do not give it more laps and go for one of these.
    Regards!

Without a doubt it is a safe purchase, before, now or a few months from now ... enjoy the machine!

Your comment is very useful and even more so now that I am very tempted to renew my equipment and buy one of the recently released Macbook Pro Retina ... But if it leaves me with many doubts, read everywhere that at the end of this year new Macbook with processor will be released from another generation and I don't know what more cuteness and news :: Yes and I think it's better to wait…. hehe
The use I give it is more than anything personal, but if I suddenly like to use photo and video editing programs (Imovie, aperture) and try new software ... And really on my current 2011 Macbook (i5, 2.3 GHz, 4G RAM ) They consume a lot of resources to the degree that they hang and I spend them throwing tantrums because when it comes to editing photos, videos ... uff! Sometimes it is almost penance to wait or you have to restart the programs ... So now my question is whether to go for a Macbook Pro with an i5 processor with 2.8 ghz Turbo Boost and 16 g of RAM? Or jump to the 7 GHz i3.0…. I do not know if it is an excess and the latter and with the i5 is enough (putting in extras the 16 G of RAM instead of 8) and save me that money from the jump of processing from i5 to i7 which are like 350 EUR
I hope you can guide me about these processors ... and I will continue to talk about whether to wait or not

Good aranzzamx, I do not think that Apple will change the processor of the MacBook Pro at the end of the year but the decision on this type of purchase always has to be based on the need of one.

But whether or not a new MacBook is introduced by the end of the year, today's MacBooks will still be spectacular machines.

      Greetings 😉
