Apple could add edit option in iMessage

iMessage wants you to be able to edit the messages

In Spain the use of iMessage is not very widespread. However, it is one of the best options how much privacy and security. It is true that it is still very limited compared to other instant messaging services, but it is what has to be so secure and encrypted. In addition, little by little it is adding functionalities that place it a little closer to the two big ones on the market. The developers want posts to be editable.

iMessage gets a little closer to Telegram with its future update for editing messages.

Edit iMessages

If you are a WhatsApp user, you will have seen that you cannot edit a message that you have already sent. You would have to delete it and send it again corrected, or use custom and add what you want to correct by adding an asterisk.

On Telegram, however, yes you can edit a message and the best of all is that you do not have to delete or use the collection of social networks.

iMessage He wants to look a little more like Telegram and wants that in the future, we can also edit the messages that we send through this platform. It is true that this new feature was introduced today like a patent, so we will not know if it will really come to the fore as described.

The idea is that we can, press and hold the message that we want to edit. A series of options will open and one of them will be to modify the text that we have sent. The novelty would be that the original text would also remain visible, so the two messages would coexist. The one sent and wrong and the one again sent and corrected. something different from what Telegram does and very far from what WhatsApp does, which does not leave us.

I don't really know if having two messages is the best option, but hey, at least the fact that they are considering that we can edit the sent messages is an advance that hope to see in the future and that the patent is finally developed, because you never know.
