Apple decides to remove the LG 5k Ultrafine screen from sale due to the Studio Display

LG UltraFine 5k

After the event on March 8 in which Apple presented the new 27-inch Studio screen in society with sensational features and at a dizzying price, we have to announce that its most direct rival and that it was also for sale in Apple Online and its stores, has been withdrawn. It seems that there was no room for two screens with similar features. And of course, the victim has been that of LG stop that the other is from Apple and is newer.

After Apple introduces new devices, it is common for some of the existing ones to pass on to a "better life". That is what has happened with the LG screen that was sold through Apple's website and in other stores. This screen with 5K quality and 500 nits of brightness has been displaced by the new studio display that Apple has launched to the market matching the new Mac Studio. This Apple screen already has 600 nits apart from this slight difference and the fact that Apple's materials are better, little else differentiates one screen from another. Well yes, the webcam.

Now we have the option of being able to buy the Studio Display with it spending a fortune. The one from LG is not that it was cheap either but something else if it was. We only have one option left. The best option, yes, okay, but it's always good to be able to choose. From 1.779 euros nothing more and nothing less.

By the way. You can probably buy the LG in another store, but on the Web it will be a bit difficult because from the official page of LG it says that there are no stocks. We don't know if it's temporary or is it that the screen is definitively withdrawn from the market and not only in Apple.
