Apple Releases First Public Beta of macOS 10.12.5

This week has been the elegy for Apple to launch the final version of macOS 10.12.4, after a large number of betas, which seemed to indicate that something was not working correctly. The same thing happened with the betas of iOS 10.3, watchOS 3.2 and tvOS 10.2. But despite the large number of betas that have been released before the final version, there are already some users who are reporting problems with this latest update, an update that is knocking out the USB-C ports of some MacBook models, which seems to have forced the guys from Cupertino to start releasing the first macOS 10.12.5 betas.

For three days, developers have already had the ability to download the first beta of macOS 10.12.5, but a few hours ago, Apple has also launched the public beta of this same first beta. At the moment it seems that this new version focuses on improving the performance and operation of the operating system, leaving aside the addition of new functions. Keep in mind that Apple has already started working on the next version of macOS, a version that should bring us new news, so Apple will not add new functions to this already veteran operating system.

One of the novelties that has attracted the most attention in the 10.12.4 update is the Night Shift mode, a mode aimed at all those users who do not want to have sleep problems due to the using your Mac in low light conditions. But like the important news that Apple has added in recent years, the guys from Cupertino have limited the use of this new feature to Macs released as of 2012, forcing users to make use of f.lux, which in the end, shows better performance than the native macOS feature.
