In addition to the recent appearance of the new versions iOS 9.2.1 for mobile devices and OS X 10.11.3 for Mac, Apple has also released another update but this time it is for its iMovie application. This version updates the movie editing software to version 10.1.1 and includes a number of improvements and bug fixes to the delight of some users who had already reported bulk bugs in older version 10.1.

Among the bugs fixed in iMovie 10.1.1, there was a known problem when sharing content on YouTube that has caused problems among users with more than one account registered on this platform. In addition to this problem, there was also another that prevented the adjustments in relation to white balance were applied normally to clips causing incorrect display of still images.

Recall that version 10.1 was released in mid-October last year, finally bringing the possibility of editing videos at 4K resolution plus 1080p at 60 frames per second.

Without further ado, here is the record of changes in iMovie 10.1.1 in full from Apple's own website:

  • Addresses an issue when posting to YouTube that could prevent multiple account users from logging in.
  • Fixes an issue that could prevent white balance settings from being applied to clips.
  • Sony XAVC S clips captured at 100 or 120 fps now play correctly.
  • Fixes an issue that could prevent still images from being displayed properly.
  • Clips are now copied when dragged from the project's content container to the events in the library list.
  • Stability has been improved.
