One of the main problems that Apple has had with its latest model of the Mac Pro, is undoubtedly the shipping times. But today the Cupertino company continues to considerably reduce the delivery times of the powerful desktop that already is between 2 or 3 weeks.
It must be taken into account that in large surfaces or even in some resellers we can find the new Mac Pro model available for immediate purchase, but in them it is not possible to configure the equipment to the customer's taste by adding better hardware despite the fact that the powerful series machine is capable of holding up to 42 devices connected at the same time.
But not only are the delivery times of the most basic model reduced, this reduction in time applies to the two available models, both the four-core and the six-core. In addition, for the possible custom configurations by the user they are also reduced, something that future buyers will undoubtedly appreciate.
It is significant that Apple does not offer any explanation about the causes that forced them to extend the delivery time to almost two months for a time in the months of February, March and April, so no one knows if the reason was the lack of stock or some problem in the manufacture of the Mac Pro. Nor do I think Apple explains the causes today when they start to lower their delivery term.
It is possible that this waiting time for new shipments of your desktop will continue to decrease in the coming days or months depending above all on the demand, but at least it is already being something more reasonable for the reception of a new equipment.
