The plus version of this AppleCare which is available at Latin America, the US and certain European countries It covers a more advantageous guarantee compared to the normal one with more possibilities of change or repair due to minor causes or even carelessness on the part of the user. This is how one of these clauses has just been modified and that it would be related to the capacity of the battery.
If you bought your iPhone, iPad, iPod, or Apple Watch before 10 2015 of April and you applied the AppleCare + guarantee, the old clauses will still appear, however the purchase was carried out beyond that date, the new clauses are automatically applied in which they consist for example that if the device's battery does not reach 80% of the capacity for which it was designed, it will be automatically repaired or replaced.

During the term of the Plan, you may submit a valid claim by notification to Apple under the following terms, (i) by defect in materials or construction in the Covered Equipment, (ii) Battery capacity of the Covered Equipment must be maintained with a electrical load equal to or greater than eighty percent (80%) of its original specifications, if not met (a) Apple will repair the defect free of charge, using new parts or parts that are equivalent to new in performance and reliability, or ( b) exchange the Covered Equipment with a replacement product new or equivalent to new in performance and reliability. All replacement products provided for in this Plan will be, at a minimum, functionally equivalent to the original product. If Apple exchanges the Covered Equipment, the original product becomes Apple's property and the replacement product becomes Apple's property, with coverage remaining for the remainder of the Plan.
