If you no longer use an email address that you originally associated with your Apple ID because it is no longer valid or you just want to change it to another email address to associate it again, we will show you the fastest and easiest way to do it.
The Apple ID is actually the equivalent of your username to use Apple services like iTunes, the App Store, iMessage, or FaceTime. Therefore, any change in the account will automatically cause an email to be sent to your email address informing of said change or purchase.
To carry out this operation we only have to access the administration page of "My Apple ID". Once we have accessed said page, we will click on the blue button "Manage your Apple ID" where we will be asked for our current email and the associated password to go to the management panel.
In the first option «Name, ID and email addresses» we will have the option to modify it for all services, keeping the same password. When we permanently change the email address, Apple will send us an email to the new address to verify that it is ours.
The only negative point as you can see in the image above, is that we will not be able to modify the email address if its domain is @ iCloud.com, @ mac.com or @ me.com, that is, a domain owned by AppleHowever, we can modify it so that it sends us all the notifications to the new email, although we will have to keep the "old" as username, a small setback that will have to be assumed.

Hello, I have a problem with the main email associated with my Apple ID. The only email account I use now is Apple's (@ icloud.com), so I can't use it as an ID, so I receive the Apple email in a Hotmail account that I no longer use and I want to delete. What should I do to receive the Apple mail in my account @ icloud.com even if it is not the main account of the ID?
Thank you
