Create a folder in OS X with previously selected files

Although it is already an integrated feature within the system itself, we will not have to carry out creating no service specific through automator to achieve that by pre-selecting a series of files we can move them all at once to a new folder, without first having to create it.

It is an option to take into account since it saves time, no matter how little, in the task of organize our files within OS X. Let's see the steps we have to take to achieve it.

Obviously the first thing will be to select the files and / or folders that we want to move to the new folder, once they are all selected with the right mouse button (Ctrl + click) on one of those files.

The next step is to choose »New folder with selection» where it shows us right next to the total files or folders that we have selected within the parentheses. Once the option is chosen, we will only have to write the new name that we want to give the folder and press enter so that these elements are moved to their new location.

The way to achieve this by means of a keyboard shortcut when taking them to a new folder is by pressing Ctrl + CMD + N on the keyboard once we have selected all the elements. The advantage of this is that we can also do it with a single file (it is not necessary to select several elements) to which is added the possibility of undoing the operation simply by pressing Ctrl + Z.

These kinds of tips or tricks are quite helpful because the sum of them makes us more productive within the system, anyway it is no less true that I still miss some fairly simple things such as that in the auxiliary menu the cut / paste option appearsHowever, other features like creating a new folder from scratch with previously selected items seem especially useful to me.
