Disk Doctor, an application that will manage your disk space

Disk-Doctor-0

A couple of days ago we already commented in another post a open source app what could scan your disk and thus know where you are staying the different types of files and which application is using them, however the interface, even though it was quite simple, seemed little worked and neither did it hierarchize by type, that is, it only showed the files associated with the application and where they were located.

Disk Doctor is a paid application but it will effectively show you that part of that space is occupied by the application cache, which are the large files, the downloads (both your own and those of your email) ... so it will be even easier to make space with little effort.

Disk-Doctor-1

The first thing he asks us is that we choose our user folder to be able to analyze disk content, something simple that will only take us a moment to choose it. Once done, it will automatically search for all files that can be deleted, although as always in this type of application we will be advised to keep a backup copy of said files in case of error, either on our part when choosing them or on the own program.

It also incorporates specific buttons to preview the content before proceeding to delete it and activate the sections as appropriate, so practically there should be no confusion at the time of cleaning. Disk Doctor can be downloaded directly from the Mac App Store at a price of € 2,69 and becomes a great alternative to keep our disk at bay and that don't 'get fat' too much without knowing how.
