Don't update your HomePod to iOS 13.2 yet

Apple HomePod

I do not know very well what is happening lately with the updates of Apple devices. If there has been various problems detected with macOS Catalina, the new version of iOS, 13.2, is not far behind. In less than 24 hours after its launch, some users have reported serious problems with the HomePod.

The new updates are supposed to improve the product and in fact that is the idea of this new version on the HomePod, with the long-awaited arrival of the recognition of different voices, among others, but things are not going the way they should.

Some HomePods become an expensive and pretty brick with iOS 13.2

Yesterday, iOS version 13.2 was released publicly and officially, improving above all, the functionalities of the iPhone. But don't forget that new features were introduced to the Apple smart speaker. What happens is that in less than 24 hours, several users have reported serious problems with the update.

both Reddit (where they also report problems with Apple Music in this new update) Like on Twitter, users are reporting that the HomePod has turned into a pretty, expensive brick. It doesn't work after installing the update that promised to add recognition of different voices or play relaxing soundtracks.

At the moment it is not known what the specific problem is, so there is no solution. Even if you subtract it, the HomePod keeps the red Liza and does not progress from there.

We do not advise at the moment to update the HomePod to the new version, because Apple has not officially recognized the problem, although it does encourage people to take it to an Apple Store or authorized official service. There they may solve the problem for you and if they do not find it, they could change it for a new one. But why risk right ?.
