Flexibits Chatology will be removed from the App store

Apple's messages application is, for me, one of the best there is. Neither WhatsApp nor Telegram. You just have a little problem. It is that it can only be used in Apple. If I think about it, the problem is quite big, because I know few people around me who use Apple. Another drawback was its message search engine specifically and on Mac. That was supplied by Chatology on Mac, But now it's about to disappear

Chatology emerged to meet a need for Apple Messaging users. Being able to search within the conversations sent and received the message you wanted. The same that can be done now on WhatsApp and Telegram. However, the application has been evolving and improving itself, and shortly With the birth of macOS Big Sur, the application will be forgotten.

Apple's new operating system, expected to arrive later this year together with Apple Silicon, will bring some functionalities for Apple Messages. It will bring a much more effective and exhaustive search option, so the developers of Flexibits, They have decided that Chatology has come to an end.

Chatology will continue to work on macOS Catalina and earlier versions, but the app is no longer sold, right now and the tech support will stop at the end of 2020.

After more than 7 years, Chatology is being discontinued due to major changes to Messages in the next version of macOS Big Sur. Chatology is no longer available for purchase, but will continue to work with existing versions of macOS. Technical support will officially end on December 31, 2020.

Chatology was born in 2013 and it came to fill a need for Apple Menages users on Mac. Seven years later Apple has decided that it is time to have a tool like this. Nothing bad, only seven years in serving the needs of Mac users.
