This widget is useful for keep us informed at all times and with a single click, about what song is playing on our Mac, as well as the different actions related to the iTunes Radio service.

Many of us spend several hours in front of the machine and it is always interesting to liven up the work with our favorite music, so Apple thought it appropriate to add this widget in the Notification Center. After a few days from the update, some users ask us how to activate the new widget on Mac and today we will see the simple steps to do it.

To use the widget we have to enter first in System preferences. Once opened, it is so simple how to click on the option Extensions and we confirm that the iTunes widget check is selected. If it is not, click on it and we already have the widget active to be able to place it where we want in the notification bar of our Mac.

Once active, all that remains is to enter iTunes and click on one of our songs or albums to check that everything works fine. If it works, the notification bar will have to go out when we play a song and the widget with all the information of the song we are listening to at that moment.
