How to install macOS High Sierra public beta on our Mac

This is one of those questions that we usually get once we have the public beta version released and today We will see the step by step process of how to install the new public beta version on our Mac without damaging the current version, that is, through a partition on our disk.

There are several ways to install these public beta versions, but the best in all cases and in our experience is to leave a partition for the betas and do not install it as the main operating system to avoid possible problems or bugs that the beta may have.

The first thing before we start fiddling with our equipment is perform a backup. This is always the case and it is the best advice we can give when we are going to fiddle with the disk even if it is a partition or we install it on an external disk, etc., the backup is always very important. Then we can start with the download of the public beta version that we will find in the Apple's beta page.

Once we entered the Apple website it will ask us to register with the Apple ID and once registered we can access the public beta versions. We access the macOS High Sierra from the web and click on the download. We will see that the download is activated by means of a file on our Mac and then we click on this file (installer) so that the Mac App Store starts directly by starting the download, we wait until it finishes and that's it.

Now we have the beta on our Mac and to install it we simply have to follow the steps that the installer gives us, which are simple and once we finish the Mac will restart. As soon as it asks us for the installation disc we have to say to install it in the partition created or the external disk that we have connected to the Mac, then to go from one system to another we simply have to use the tool System Preferences> Boot Disk and change between one and the other whenever we want (previously you have to unlock the padlock at the bottom left).

Be clear that Apple will automatically activate two-factor authentication if you decide to install any of the macOS High Sierra public betas as confirmed by Javier Porcar in this article. This is another of the points to take into account in this installation, so you are warned.

    I keep getting three errors:
-The system is warmer than in the latest versions.
-When the lid is closed, to rest and then the lid is lifted, the system remains hanging.
The brightness does not remain as we leave it when we turn off When we turn on the computer, do we have to regulate it again?
