From Kickstarter we get a "new" software project for video editing and I say new because although its version was updated at the end of 2012 reaching its second edition there was still no equivalent version for Mac being only available for PC but it seems that this is going to change and they already have all the relevant tests passed and thus make the leap.
The software seems really powerful having received rave reviews from the specialized press where the developers ask for different goals for integrate more tools and visual effects to the program so far having raised about 58,128 pounds.
An ambitious new application that offers impressive video effects at a revolutionary price […] In our opinion the best single software package for aspiring visual effects artists and filmmakers
Regarding the aforementioned version for Mac, they warn that within the specifications of the equipment that the application is going to run, it should integrate a modern CPU being the recommended at least a Core i5 or Core i7 in addition to a graphics according to the power of these processors, also recommending graphics such as Intel HD 4000, Radeon 5000 series or Nvidia GeForce 600.
For now, the best way to enjoy the demo they offer from KickStarter is to do it through Bootcamp with Windows installed until the version corresponding to Mac is finished porting. Finally, something that seems remarkable to me is the fact that if you are willing to donate more than 5000 Pounds to the project, the CEO of the company, Joshua Davies, will bring home two copies in deluxe edition and signed by the entire FXhome team.
