New Supplemental Update for macOS 10.15.6

Catalina

Just over a week ago, Apple released a supplemental update, for macOS Catalina, an update that did not change the version number and that solved the problems that VMWare users they were presenting since the previous update had been released. Today we wake up with another supplementary update that does not affect the numbering either from Catalina's version.

On this occasion, this update solves the problems that some computers had when it came to connect to Wi-Fi networks and file sync error with iCloud Drive, an error that allowed us to upload or download documents stored in Apple's storage service.

This is the second supplemental update that Apple is forced to release after macOS Catalina update 10.15.6. If there are no new bugs, this supplemental update will likely be the last one you receive, so if your device is not among the Big Sur compatible models, 10.15.6 will be the last update, as long as it isn't. any major security breach that may affect the integrity of the computers managed by Catalina is stopped.

Like the rest of the updates, this new supplemental update is available through System preferences, riding a Software update. If you have automatic updates turned on, your device has probably already been updated.

Launch of macOS Big Sur

The main novelty that we find in Big Sur is related to aesthetics, a very iPadOS aesthetic, with a notification center that drinks from the version available on the iPad, and with which we have access to playback controls, brightness, connectivity ...

Regarding the release of the final version, Apple invited us to fall, but without specifying a specific date, a date that we know in the coming weeks, probably in the presentation event scheduled for September 15th.

Thanks for the article, the point is that it won't let me install it. I don't know if it's a matter on my computer, or if the same thing happens to someone else.

    Thank you
