No, your Siri Remote is not failing

You may have already been searching the web for a solution to a problem your Siri Remote is experiencing in case you have upgraded your 9.2th generation Apple TV to the new tvOS XNUMX. However, we have to tell you that it may be that what you think is a failure of the command is not, and it is that in addition to the news that have been included in this version of tvOS and that are already more than explained in previous articles there are others that have not been mentioned even by Apple itself.

As you know, one of the things that has been introduced in the new tvOS 9.2 has been the possibility of making folders with the applications that we are downloading on our Apple TV in addition to provide Siri to searches in Apple Music or within any content we have on Apple TV.

Now, it seems that Apple has gone further and as it happens in the OS X computer system, there are times that not everything that is modified is mentioned and It is not until the user starts using the new version of the system that he learns about these new modes of operation.

We are commenting on this because it seems that there are users who have misinterpreted the new operation of the Siri Remote as far as the video advance is concerned with the touch area of the same. Until now, when we were watching a certain video on the new Apple TV and we wanted to move forward or backward in the video, we would slide our finger on the touch zone and by magic the change was generated.

However, I am among the users that while I have been watching certain content, I have touched the touch zone and the video by mistake it has jumped to a different place to the one of reproduction having then to look for the exact place where it had been.

Apple has noticed this little phallus, if we want to take it as a failure and has added one more step to take before moving forward or backward in a video or music. First we will have to press the pause in the interface for which we click on the touch area and then slide the finger to advance or go back. Until we pause, forward or backward will not work.

That is why if you have tried to move forward or backward in the interface and it did not let you, it is not that the Siri Remote is failing, it is that the operating mode is the one that has changed.

Has anyone else happened that subtitles in Spanish come out directly on Netflix? It is a very uncomfortable situation to have to disable subtitles for each episode.

That exactly happens to me too. I think it's a programming glitch in the Netflix app. Let's see if they realize it and solve it. Thanks for reading.

After installing the latest version, the search bar shows that I can now dictate by voice but it doesn't work. Pressing the Siri button takes you back to the previous screen.
