PARALLEL ACCESS

If a few weeks ago we informed you about the news that was happening around Parallels Regarding the integration and compatibility with the future OSX Mavericks today they surprise us again with a new application.

In addition, we also told you that Apple had decided to have in the Apple Store a 27 ”iMac with Windows 8 virtualized in Parallels to be able to enter the business fabric, making this sector see that by buying a Mac they could also make use of those programs that They only have version for Windows.

Already on August 3, we publish a post in which we reported that certain users were receiving emails in order to update to Parallels 9 and start testing Mavericks betas and report results.

These days, an application for the iPad and Mac has quietly appeared that allows the Mac to connect with the iPad and virtualize "APPLICATIONS" from OSX or Windows, it is about Parallel Access.

For the invention to work, what we have to do is install a "client" on our Mac and an application on the iPad. In this way we can have access to the OSX programs that are automatically adapted so that they can be used on the iPad. For this we have tools that allow us to copy and paste text in the style of iOS, they increase the zoom and allow us to move with our finger as if the original program were prepared for it. On the other hand, comment that the OSX and Windows applications will be able to be shown in the purest Launchpad style and a dock that is hidden when we are not using it.

Regarding the price, each of the computers in which we install the "client" must have an annual subscription of € 69,99. There is the possibility to try it completely free of charge for 14 days. A priori we could say that it has a high price, but you also have to be serious and see the great work that must exist behind the application so that the applications are self-adjusting to be able to use them on the iPad.

[…] You can select words with one finger and then drag them, use the same copy and paste actions found in iOS, double click to zoom and scroll through documents as you would on a native iPad page.
