The Terminal is used by developers and Advanced users to make certain changes to the system. In this article we are going to teach you the command you must use to be able to know the battery level of your Bluetooth keyboard from the Terminal.
To obtain the battery level that your Apple Bluetooth keyboard has left directly from the Terminal window, we must use a command for it. This command will not only allow us to know the battery level that our keyboard has, which seems a bit illogical if we have the keyboard in front of us. - We open the Terminal from the Spotlight or from Launchpad> OTHERS> Terminal.
- We write the following command:
ioreg -c AppleBluetoothHIDKeyboard | grep '"BatteryPercent" ='
The system will show in the window the battery level of the keyboard instantly, being the number that appears the percentage that remains for the battery to run out.
As you can see, this is another function that is hidden within the Apple system, which can already make you think that really, if the system is already powerful for ordinary users, for very advanced users who eat the Terminal , the system is a very powerful tool.
