Growl for Mac app receives v2.1 update

growl-updates

One of my favorite Mac apps is called Growl. We already did a small review of this application in Soy de Mac en a time when they lowered the price and surely many of you have been using it on your Mac for a long time for notifications.

For those of you who do not know it, it is an application that gives us an interesting notification system for our Mac and allows us to make some configuration options for the applications that we want to receive notifications and that the OS X notification system does not offer us. . It is without a doubt a perfect complement for the native notification system of our Mac.

On this occasion, with the launch of the new version 2.1, improvements are added to the application that are added to the customization options that the application already offers us. Let's see a brief summary of these added improvements:

  • Add new options to run more sequences.
  • Fixed crash problem when we receive many notifications at the same time (more than 100).
  • Custom buttons on Webkit screens.
  • The option to control notifications through new rules is added.

In addition to these added improvements in terms of its usability features, stability and security improvements are added. Growl, a really interesting application to not lose detail of anything while we are working with our Mac and without getting annoying notifications.

If you did not automatically skip this update, as always you will find it available by accessing the menú menu > Software update or in the same Updates tab from the App Store.
