New Apple Maps layout will soon be available in Canada

Apple Maps reconfigures due to coronavirus

Apple Maps is being redesigned and distributed to select countries with this redesign. The last to access the new map features was the United Kingdom. The first, USA and now it's Canada's turn. Some users have reported that they are already testing the new design and also the “Look Around” function. So there isn't much left for it to be officially released.

The redesigned Apple Maps interface is reaching new countries. After having introduced in the USA Look Around, improved cartography and much more, now it is Canada's turn. The slow and steady rollout of the new Apple Maps platform is being reported by many users and many specialized media like ours

One of the people who is putting the most effort into this task is Justin O'Beirne. It even has its own website, where it indicates the news of the application. The data tracked by O'Beirne show a strong rebound in users with access to the new Apple maps this week.

Once the new Apple Maps interface has been fully implemented in Canada, it will be the "largest expansion to date" of the new Apple Maps data:

Once the new map is published to all Apple Maps users, Canada will be the fourth country to receive the new map from Apple. In the past, Apple has spent between 16 and 49 days publicly testing its previous expansions, with an average trial period lasting 37 days. Given this, expansion # 10 is likely to be released to all Apple Maps users by the end of November.

Look Around will soon be available in Canada and hence we assume that it will go on to other countries. We will be attentive and we will tell you news and the countries that are implementing it.
