Turn off automatic renewal in Apple Music after trial period

After yesterday Apple surprised us with updates for both iOS and OS X, the desktop operating system reaches version 10.10.4 with the most important novelty as is the inclusion of iTunes 12.2 and its compatibility with the Apple Music service, in addition to bug fixes and general stability improvements.

However, and although the service is wonderful in terms of content and operation in the short time that I have been able to test it, it has a very small drawback and that is that when we activate the free 3-month subscription in the trial period we will activate the option to renew once this period is over for an amount of 9,99 Euros for one more month, leaving this automatic renewal option active.

To deactivate these automatic subscription we will only have to follow the following steps on Mac:

  1. We will execute the new version of iTunes 12.2, once opened we will go to the upper right and click on our name or we will log in with our iTunes password to access account information as shown in the image above.

  2. Once inside and having entered our password when requested, at the bottom we will see a field called «Subscriptions» and next to «Manage», we will click on this option to see the active subscriptions related to the service.

  3. Finally we will see our subscription and just below Renewal options (although it does not appear in the attached image), we will have an automatic renewal field That we will deactivate so that we are not automatically charged once the trial period is over, which as you can see in my case, I have it until 1/10/2015. If nothing appears, it is possible that you have already deactivated it as I did from my iPhone.

With these simple steps we will ensure that we do not get a surprise in the form of a charge on our card without knowing very well where it comes from if we are no longer interested in continuing with active service.

In my case, the automatic renewal option does not come out and I have no way to cancel the free subscription, therefore I cannot change the store because it does not allow me
