Application developers for both OSX and IOS agree that iCloud needs to be rewritten from scratch or completely replaced. In fact, it could be Apple's biggest disappointment to date. They give Apple time to correct the problem until June.
As we know, iCloud is one of the products that Apple has today and for which they have the most responsibility. Comments that generate bad publicity for being flawed and for not keeping its promise to the developers is spreading among users. Apple must completely rebuild or replace it with something else or it will become a product with less credibility than you already have.
All this comes after the Cupertino company has carried out a huge iCloud marketing campaign, generating a great demand from users who have jumped to the use of the content synchronization service in the cloud and without Apple subsequently providing a reliable set of APIs (Application Programming Interface) so that OSX and IOS developers can develop their applications.
El iCloud which is used for applications and services such as iMessage, Mail, iCloud backup, iTunes, Photo Stream and others, is based on a completely different set of technologies than the APIs provided to developers that are causing problems. iWork It is the only one that currently uses the APIs of the developers, but only in document synchronization, not in the API called "Core Data" which is the one that is causing most of the problems.
We hope that Apple will take into account the large flood of complaints from developers and provide them with APIs that make the work they do can be done with complete confidence that it will work well.
