Your iMac will grow in functionality with CableCore

CABLECORE

You've finally finished working this week, you've just gotten home and you've said to yourself... let's see what new things they've been presenting at CES 2014! You have made the right decision, because one more day, in Soy de Mac we bring you information about a new and future accessory.

Today we focus on a possible accessory for our iMac that will allow us to forget about turning it to be able to connect the devices in the rear ports.

We have been pressing in everything presented at this fair, which in some ways is being a success and we have found an accessory for the iMac called Cable Core. It is presented in this fair at the same time that it seeks financing through the Indiegogo platform to be able to start production. It is developed by a company called iCoreGear, which has already developed other accessories for the iPad, for example.

In this case it is a USB Hub for the iMac that will allow to have each and every one of the subsequent entries in it cloned. This base will have three USB 3.0 ports and an SDXC card reader on one side and another A more complete version than the above, a 3.5mm Jack audio output is added that connects to the iMac via Bluetooth.

The device claims to be able to be fully powered from a USB port of the iMac, although it is advised that if we want to use it in a certain way as a charging base for our iDevices, we connect it with its own power supply to the electrical network.

As you can see in the video and images that we attach, it is made of aluminum perfectly imitating the finishes of our beloved and perfect iMac. In terms of its price, it is $ 99 for the simple version and $ 129 for the Bluetooth version.

Now we just have to wait and see if they get the necessary financing to start production.

And the hole in the front that appears in the video, which does not appear in the photo, which is for facetime ?, haha, what an expensive nonsense.

It is the off button, also on the front, which happens that in the photos it is gray and the one in the video is a black version and looks like a "hole".
