WWDC, new OS X El Capitan, Apple Music and much more. The best of the week in Soy de Mac

soydemac1v2

This has undoubtedly been one of the most anticipated weeks by all Apple users and especially by developers. WWDC began its appointment on time at the Moscone West Center in San Francisco, last Monday at 19 p.m. Spanish time, and in it Apple showed us the new operating systems OS X El Capitan and iOS 9. Both systems are available to developers at their first beta version and they are expected to arrive this fall for all users.

Keynote tracking is something we can't put aside this week and therefore we invite you to see several of the new features that are added to the new OS X El Capitan and that the guys from Cupertino showed us in the keynote, such as the new streaming music service called Apple Music.

Apple's new operating system is called El Capitan (without accent as it is a product / trademark) and the novelties are directly focused on the performance and functionality of the system. At the interface level there are few improvements except the new font, San Francisco. It is a continuation of Yosemite and all it brings is cool improvements without being a radical change. It will obviously be free for all.

The list of Macs that support OS X El Capitan is quite extensive and if you want to see if yours is on that list, be sure to visit this article.

Another interesting novelty for OS X El Capitan was the presentation of API Metal that makes an appearance in this keynote and we do not miss the opportunity to welcome it and comment on the possibilities it offers.

Last but not least, we will talk about the new Swift 2.0 API that this time adds to the Open Source. In addition to this great news, a lot of improvements are added that if you are a developer you will appreciate.

And that's it for this 'small' review of the best of the week in Soy de Mac, have a good Sunday!
